DAY 01
WELCOME TO THE PARADISE ISLAND OF SRI LANKA
AIRPORT – NEGOMBO
Island, your home for the next 8 days! You will be warmly welcomed by our airport
representative and the guide, followed by a 20-minute drive to Negombo. Negombo is a city on
the west coast of Sri Lanka, north of the capital, Colombo, featuring a lagoon lined with
fishermen's huts and a Dutch-era canal.

DAY 02
NEGOMBO – SIGIRIYA / HABARANA
After an early breakfast, check out and drive to the Cultural Triangle.
You will visit the 5th-century rock citadel of King Kasyapa and World Heritage Site, Sigiriya.
Wander into the well-fabricated museum downstairs and observe the frescoes that relate to
Gupta style paintings found in Ajanta caves of India.

DAY 03
HABARANA – DAMBULLA – KANDY
In the city of Dambulla lies a hub treasured by kings since the 1st century B.C., housing
magnificently constructed cave temples. Following Dambulla, stop by a Matale spice garden to
observe the therapeutic values of spices over a refreshing cup of herbal tea. You will then
arrive in Kandy, the World Heritage Site and last royal capital of Sri Lankan kings.

DAY 04
KANDY – NUWARA ELIYA
Drive into Sri Lanka's rich heritage with a visit to a tea plantation and tea factory set in a lush
landscape to learn about the cultivation of tea leaves. Nuwara Eliya is a city in the tea country
hills of central Sri Lanka, featuring naturally landscaped gardens and cool climates.
